Bill Holder Joins Optimum Safety Management (OSM) as Vice President.

Earlier this year, OSM President, Steve Yates, began the journey of acquiring a new Vice President to advance the future of the company. After experiencing a significant amount of growth, he knew there was a need for expansion in leadership at the top level of the organization. Finding support for growth in a structured fashion was of upmost importance for advancing business relations.

When asked what the major criteria for such a position was, Mr. Yates replied: “someone with extensive experience in safety leadership.” OSM has always been a company focused on developing the individuals within our clients’ organization. With a vision statement like: “workers everywhere valued and safe”, it is imperative the top level of leadership be entirely committed to seeing this fulfilled.

When conversations with Bill Holder began, it was evident his leadership approaches and commitment to excellence in safety were what Mr. Yates has been looking for. Mr. Yates stated, “He is thoroughly aligned with our vision of workers everywhere valued and safe – not only in conversation, but in results of operations he has led.” Mr. Holder provides extensive experience in developing leadership and a proven track record of sustained growth in previous organizations. Previously a principle consultant with Dekra Insights, Mr. Holder has worked alongside several large-scale organizations to roll out their safety processes and coach senior management.

Bill Holder is an experienced and accomplished professional, who has led successful cultural change efforts with large for-profit organizations as well as church and ministry organizations.  Bill’s experience with improvement initiatives include management systems ISO 14001 and OSAS 18001 Certification, behavior based change processes with enhancements in leadership development. He has also led continuous improvement efforts in operations execution, optimization of loss prevention efforts, corporate crisis management planning, corporate security and relationship management.

Known as a transformational leader throughout his progressively responsible positions from craftsperson to executive leadership; Bill utilizes strengths in analysis and identification of issues within existing systems and processes and combines hands-on field experience.  With leadership expertise, he can rapidly diagnose problems and deliver improvements through proficiency in mentoring and coaching teams, strategic plan development and driving maximized employee engagement across functions.
