OSHA’s new Silica Final Rule comes into effect September 23, 2017 for Construction and June 23, 2018 for Industry. The Agency has severely tightened requirements for working with material that contains silica. Poised to begin enforcement activities immediately, the agency will be looking for organizations to fine and publicly shame through press releases.
In response to the urgent need, Optimum Safety Management is hosting a Silica Compliance Workshop to help you prepare for this change. Since this rule was first released, Optimum has diligently been studying the scope of the Silica Final Rule in multiple industries. Now, we want to prepare you to approach these deadlines with ample resources.

Presentation will be given by Drew Page, CHST. Drew is the Director of Operations at Optimum and has been spearheading research on the New Silica Rule. Prior to his work at Optimum, Drew worked as a Site Safety Manager located downtown Chicago for a Global Construction Manager where he was responsible for the safety of over 1,000 craft tradespeople per site on multiple projects
